2012 - Narrow Bridge - Lifetime Feature - Grip
-3-week MOW shoot located in Vancouver's downtown east side, Matsqui, and Riverside Institution
-Heavy use of frames, 8x8's - 20x20's and all sizes in between
-Extreme summer heat conditions. 30 - 35 degrees average while working in Abbotsford
2012 - Twinkle - Lifetime Christmas Feature - Lead Grip
-3-week MOW shoot in the tri-cities area on outskirts of Vancouver
-Creating a Christmas-like environment with lots of soft-light and bounces
-Working as the on-set grip, then assisting Best Boy Grip with inventory & repairs during long scenes
2012 - Nearlyweds - Lifetime Feature - Lead Grip
-3-week MOW shoot in the tri-cities area on outskirts of Vancouver
-Had quite a number of location changes in very delicate locations, property & set safety was paramount
-Worked as the on-set grip, working closely with DP, Key Grip, Gaffer & Camera
-This film included a fair amount of technical overhead rigs for mounting Grip & LX equipment
2012 - Tom, Dick and Harriett – Lifetime Feature - Lead Grip, Best Boy Grip
-3-week MOW shoot in the tri-cities area on outskirts of Vancouver
-Worked as Best Boy grip on 2 sub days
-Established myself as the on-set grip, working closely with DP, Key Grip, Gaffer & Camera
-Lots of DFN & tenting
-Construction and safetying of 30'x18' trans light frames
2012 - Taken Back – Lifetime Feature. - Grip
-3-week MOW shoot in the tri-cities area on outskirts of Vancouver
-Extreme spring weather conditions
-Duties included running gear with Best Boy, setting up next scene, assisting handheld camera crew
-Relieved Key Grip for breaks during day & developed a strong relationship w/ DP, ELX & CAM dept.
-Assisted Best Boy with load ins/outs
2012 - GOAL! - Independent Short - Best Boy Grip
-Two day shoot spread throughout the Metro/GVRD area
-Lots of company moves
-Responsible for gear load-ins/outs
-Lots of location hopping, staying on top of gear was priority
2011 - Death Do Us Part - Independent Feature - Key Grip
-Working in Sechelt B.C. in extreme weather conditions over a 12 day period
-13+ hour days
-Coordinating Grip/ELX swing crew with the Gaffer
-Working in remote, heavily-forested areas & beaches
-Responsible for set safety
-Combination of day & night shoots
-Extreme wind & rain made safety of gear & set an ongoing issue. My rigging experience was an asset.
