Regional Support

FILM OTAGO SOUTHLAND SUPPORT

Film Otago Southland is not a production funding agency. However, we are able to consider requests for small financial contributions to support:

  • Professional development for regional filmmakers
  • Project development for projects intended to be filmed in our region

This includes:

  • Event Support
  • Travel Grants
  • Training Grants
  • Screenwriters in Residence Programme
  • Bespoke Creative Development Support

Further information about these programmes is available below.

We have also collated the various funding schemes and opportunities we are aware of into our Funding and Development Opportunities for Regional Filmmakers Guide, available to download.
