Creative Wave Media

Creative Wave Media is a Wānaka-based production company built for action sports, outdoor and lifestyle work. We lead every project from concept through to final grade, backed by a trusted circle of freelance crew, editors and stills photographers scaled to the job.

We work where the terrain is the hard part: ski fields, bike parks, backcountry trails, high country stations and alpine lakes. Cold, remote, weather-dependent, athletes moving at speed.

Industry Experience

Work produced for Red Bull, Shimano NZ, Sweet Protection, Outsiders, Otis Oat Milk, F45, HeliBike NZ and more, alongside ongoing production for Southern Lakes events, athletes and destination brands including Challenge Wānaka, Bike Glendhu, McGazza Fest, the NZ Junior Freeride Tour and the Wānaka Festival of Colour. Projects range from single-day brand films through to multi-day campaign shoots carrying full crew, talent and location access, and season-long retainers covering an event calendar end to end.
