Eiko Jones

Eiko has been a professional camera operator and photographer for many years. He has specialized in difficult environment shooting, especially underwater camera ops. While living in Canada he made shooting salmon his specialty, including shooting for a large National Geographic series on animal migrations and smaller productions as well. He has an array of specialty equipment for shooting both wide angle and macro subjects. After moving home to NZ he has worked on reality, doc, and a small drama film, both underwater and above. Eiko is at ease in all kinds of terrain, from oceans and rivers, to mountains and caves.
His strength is his diversity of skill sets and confidence. From being underwater one day to being flown to a mountain top and shooting roped in on a cliff side the next.
Eiko has his own extensive kit for underwater and topside work ( Z-Cam 6k cinema cameras and Nauticam housings) and is also comfortable shooting RED and Sony FX6 and 9

Eiko is very adaptable and is also happy to drive, build or do other work on set.
